Our Core Programs
Tamarack Day Program
Tamarack Day Program operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. It offers individuals a variety of social and recreational activities designed to promote life skills development, personal growth, and community engagement. Activities include music therapy, outings, and arts and crafts.
Supported Independent Living Program
The Supported Independent Living Program empowers individuals to live independently while receiving necessary support. SILP assistance is tailored to each participant’s needs. Currently, the program supports seven Core Members living in their own apartments or housing arrangements.
Programming For Residents
Each Core Member at L’Arche Calgary has a unique journey.
Some participate solely in our Day Program, others are involved only through SILP (Supported Independent Living Program), and some live in our homes while engaging in other programming. Despite these varied paths, our community remains closely connected.
We come together often for adventures, celebrations, and shared moments of joy. Whether it’s home-based outings, community-wide events, or simple gatherings, L’Arche Calgary is a place where belonging and connection are at the heart of it all.
